One year of Cuties TJ
A year ago, Cuties TJ started, and at first it didn’t feel like a new beginning, it felt like a rename, just that, a different label on something that had already existed for years, without really knowing if anything underneath was going to change, and honestly I liked the previous name, when I first thought about it, it had meaning, it had a concept behind it, a connection to Greek mythology and women that made it feel intentional, but it wasn’t working anymore, for years things had been stuck, no growth, no movement, just the same cycle repeating itself without going anywhere, and that’s where Cuties TJ came in, not as a rebrand, but as a push, a necessary one, the kind that forces everything forward whether you’re ready or not
When I saw the old name was going to be taken away, I started talking to some good friends, and the name itself came from a simple conversation, they threw out “Cuties TJ” as an option, just casually, like something that could work, and then came the real question, the one that actually mattered, “Would it work without the name you spent years building?”
I already had everything I needed, ten years of building, learning, fixing mistakes, that was more than enough, the name doesn’t make the agency, and like I’ve said a million times, only good work gives good results, they challenged that, told me to prove it, even joked about calling it “Cutties”, as a reference to cutting, just to see if the result would be the same, so I did, and everything moved fast, ridiculously fast, the website itself was built in a single day, just one day, that was enough to get everything up, running, and ready to operate, no overthinking, no perfect conditions, just execution, and the first week broke records, numbers that hadn’t been touched in years were suddenly surpassed like it was nothing, that was the first sign that something had changed
From the beginning of this new stage, one thing became clear, work had to be work, no confusion, no mixing dynamics, if friendships happened they would happen naturally, not forced, but they would stay separate from the work itself, and that shift changed everything, the structure improved, the communication got cleaner, expectations became clearer, and most importantly everyone started moving in the same direction, the girls didn’t just show up, they contributed, they built this alongside me, this wasn’t survival anymore, this was evolution
Nothing about this would exist without the girls who were there from the beginning of this stage, Irina, Leslie, Isabella, Miranda, Rutila, Bast, Emily, Shantal, Ana, Francesca, Fara, Agatha, Swan, they were present when this was still uncertain, when it was just an idea trying to prove itself, they worked, they trusted the process, they helped turn something unstable into something real, and because of that something new started happening, girls began recommending the agency, new girls with no prior experience started arriving on their own wanting to be part of it, something that never used to happen before, and now it does, and along the way something else happened that I didn’t expect, brilliant minds started getting close to Cuties, we met incredible people who shared their knowledge to help improve everything, from technical aspects to ideas that could be implemented in the future, things that honestly opened the door to possibilities I hadn’t even considered before, and that part has been just as important in shaping what this is becoming
In this time there have also been complications, not everything has been easy or perfect, there were moments where I had to let some girls go due to issues between them, others became targets of constant trash talk meant to push them out of Cuties, in some cases it simply wasn’t the right place for them, and in others, it just wasn’t their time to start in this line of work, and that’s something I also have to be honest about, because my role is about supporting them, not the other way around, the responsibility had to be set by example, and that’s something that changed everything, but even that had a great effect, it strengthened the ones who chose to stay, it improved the relationship between them, it made them trust more, open up more, and understand that this is also a team. Something that was needed way before and finally became possible.
Now they celebrate special dates together, they support each other, they know each other better, they value their teammates and genuinely care about one another, and the most important part is that none of that was forced, it happened naturally, the way real things happen when the environment is right and when people actually want to be there
Cuties will have its celebration, but not immediately, between Spring Break, birthdays, and Mother’s Day, everything is being pushed to June, I’m letting them decide what they want to do, whether it’s a weekend, a trip, or just a night out somewhere they choose, it’s up to them, because at the end of the day this is for them, to thank them for walking this path with me, for being present, for believing in this even when it wasn’t fully clear yet, thank you for everything
And to the clients as well, everything you see on the site, on the forum, every update made to improve navigation and give you clear information without wasting time, all of that is intentional, this isn’t just an agency with a couple of ads and low quality photos, this is a complete structure with real material, photos, videos, reviews, and also what is shared week by week in the blog, where you can actually see everything that has happened over the past year, this is for you, as a way of giving back from the very beginning, trying to provide the most complete and most varied experience possible
And after all of this, one thing becomes clear, it was never about the name, and it was never about luck either, it was about the work, the difficult decisions, the uncomfortable changes, and the right people choosing to stay, what started as something uncertain slowly turned into something solid, not because it was easy, but because it was built with intention, step by step, even when things weren’t clear
And maybe that’s what this year really comes down to, understanding that growth doesn’t come from perfection, it comes from consistency, from showing up even when things feel uncertain, from choosing to keep going when it would be easier not to, and from the people who decide to stay and build something real instead of walking away when things get complicated
So at the end of all of this, there’s only one thing left to say, thank you, to the girls who stayed, who trusted, who gave their time, their energy, and their presence to something that was still finding its shape, to the people who came along the way and shared their knowledge, their perspective, and helped make this better, and to every client who chose to be part of this, because none of this exists without that combination
Because in the end, what makes something last isn’t the name, or the moment, it’s the people behind it, the ones who keep showing up, the ones who believe in it, and the ones who quietly turn something uncertain into something real, and if this year proved anything, it’s that when that happens, it’s no longer about whether it works, it’s about how far it can go
